Welcome to JPG Restoration.
I am passionate about antiques, their history, the story they tell and above all preserving them for future generations. The successful conservation or restoration of antique furniture requires the implementation of specific skills and the understanding of the construction and history of the piece.
I have been buying, restoring and selling antiques for over 23years. See the gallery tab for examples of some restoration projects.

What to expect from my services : Polite, professional and honest. I will supply a fully detailed written quote with some information about the piece, details of the agreed work and the cost. In addition I will discuss with you the timeframe that this will take to complete.
I appreciate when you hand over your project or heirloom to me you are placing your trust in me.
During the restoration I take photos and will constantly update if it is a big project to ensure you are informed of progress while still keeping to the agreed timeframe. When I return the piece I supply an electronic version of the work I have undertaken with some descriptions of the steps and processes. I get very positive feedback from customers with this, it re-assures them work is progressing as well as a good talking point with friends when your object is returned.
